Marketing Manager

Purpose of Job

Subject teachers are responsible for maximising the academic progress of the students they teach, working with colleagues to participate fully in the development of the department. Subject teachers promote a positive, purposeful and professional working atmosphere that encourages co-operation and challenge, whilst valuing the contribution that individuals make to the success of the Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To develop and execute the marketing strategies in Hong Kong and the Greater China Market;
  • To further promote our school image awareness in Asia through different marketing activities;
  • To lead multiple projects and liaise with appointed agencies;
  • To arrange and participate marketing activities including exhibitions, seminars and interview days;
  • To support social media platforms management such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube;
  • To support digital initiatives such as online advertising and School website;
  • To liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders such as media reporters, company representatives, designers and agencies;
  • To plan the annual marketing budgets, sales target and forecast.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication/Journalism/Marketing or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in B2B Marketing with a focus on Hong Kong and the Greater China Market;
  • Must have extensive knowledge about the Hong Kong and China consumer market. Previous experience in PR & Marketing activities within Greater China is highly preferred;
  • A knowledge and understanding of education, sales and client relationship management;
  • Excellent in leadership, interpersonal communication, teamwork and project management
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think strategically, creatively and proactively.
  • Good knowledge in email marketer, social media technologies and Photoshop are preferred;
  • Proficient in computer software Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel;
  • Immediate available is highly preferred.

 

Proven high level skills in the following areas:

  • Communication and literacy.
  • Relationship management.
  • Personal organisation and time management: the ability to prioritise, to work flexibly, to work to tight deadlines, to complete tasks.
