Mount Kelly Music Competition

Are you a great singer? The best composer in town? Or maybe a talented violinist? Show us the artist in you and get the chance to win amazing prizes!

Mount Kelly cares about all students and members of the community in Hong Kong. Due to the current situation we are living in Hong Kong, many children have to spend their days home, and it is important they keep mentally and physically active.  From Mount Kelly, we would like to share positive energy with the city by inviting all children to take part in our first Music Competition. Join us and show your music talents to the world!

Record yourself showing your musical talents and send us your best video. Our panel of experts formed by our Music Leader and Head of Schools will select the best performances based on range, artistic ability, technique, interpretation, phrasing and presence, among others. We will then post the best ones on our Facebook page open to public voting. Final winners will be made based on the total number of Facebook likes. Make sure to get all your friends and relatives to vote for your video!

Don’t forget to tag your videos with the hashtag: #mountkellymusic

Music talents include: Singing, Music Composition and Instruments Performance.

We are dividing the videos in three different categories based on age:

  1. Key Stage 1 (5 to 7 years old)
  2. Key Stage 2 (8 to 11 years old)
  3. Secondary (12 to 16 years old)

For each category we will give:

  • Winner Prize: Coupon valued at HKD 3,000
